A new winter skirt.

The below the knee skirt would be a great addition to your winter wardrobe.


I am a lady of a certain age – not quite the grand old dame, but, neither in the first flush of youth, so, it is with a bit of relief to be talking about this new season style, rather than having nothing to report on other than the usual short or maxi lengths.

The new length skirt can fall flatteringly below the knee, or can fall even further and finish mid calf.

It is a very feminine look and will add a touch of 70’s retro glamour to your wardrobe.

The new longer length comes in different shapes – A line, flared even pencil shaped, so, there is a style to suit everyone in a good choice of fabrics.

A very versatile little item, which means you will be able to create a lot of different looks.

Blouses, shirts and long sleeve T- shirts will look FAB, especially if paired with this seasons fur gilet.

Winter knits – short and  fitted, long and  loose jumpers,  and cardigans of various lengths will also work well.

For day time casual dress with knee high or ankle boots, brogues or leather slip on’s, colourful opaque and woolly tights. And for a touch of evening glamour….just add huge heels.
